The Tears of Christ

Fine art photo print by PetroWasHere. Over 5,000 prints sold.

The Tears of Christ is a charcoal and sepia oil portrait of Christ with a crown of thorns and tears. Petro painted it by hand in a dry oil brush technique: oil paint, with the brush fairly dry so the strokes stay, not blended wet-into-wet. No digital. It took two days.

Original is the 11x17 painting.
